Day 20: Bathtime

As someone who practically grew up around a pool (often spending five days a week at my community pool from about the age of five through high school), I am looking forward to sharing my love of water with Michal.  Given that we do not experience the tepid winters of my childhood here in the Washington DC area, we have a few months until we can suit up the kid and hit the pool.  Until then we have the bath.


Michal has not yet realized that water is fun.  While she reclines regally in her baby tub while we wash her, occasionally pushing her feet against the bottom of the tub to move around, she has yet to splash and just play.  She merely hangs out in  the warm water.


But when we get her out of the tub, into her towel, and back onto the changing pad.. now THAT is a fun time.  She does love to hang out on her changing table.  Big time.  It's always a grand parade of smiles, giggles, wiggles, and the thumping of legs every which way.  So far she has not proven to follow her mother's footsteps as a water baby, but she certainly is a towel baby.
