We had a busy day today. We enjoyed our Shabbat morning relaxing around the house, although our plans of enjoying some challah French toast were not realized. The afternoon was spent with friends, helping one of Michal's older friends celebrate her first birthday. The party was great fun, with a house filled with kids of all ages. Michal is a quiet and calm baby and spent most of the party hanging back and watching everyone else, but after a while the fun and noise started to get to her. This, coupled with a much needed nap, had us beating a departure earlier than when we had intended. It is hard to believe that in a blink of an eye, we will be celebrating her first birthday - true, it's just under seven months away, but it will be here before we know it.
Here is the girly, sitting with Daddy and watching the big kids open and play with birthday gifts.
After the party, we enjoyed Mongolian BBQ for dinner before heading to the home of friends for a shiva minyan. Now we are warm and bundled up at home, as I prepare for a brief work trip for a conference. The current plan is to keep the 365 Project going, with Josh filling in on the blog. Check back to see how he and Michal do without me!

Two things I miss about living in DC... Mongolian BBQ and Elisha (in no particular order!)
